Ghana Bitcoin Distribution Project

The Ghana Bitcoin Distribution Project aims to spark curiosity and learning among school students through direct exposure to cryptocurrency. The foundation raises funds in Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies, and redistributes them in small amounts to students in selected regions across Ghana. The first school in Ghana for this program to be rolled out is Obomeng Presby school This initiative is designed to encourage young learners to create their first digital wallets, receive their first cryptocurrency, and independently explore how blockchain and digital finance work. It’s not just about giving, they learn by doing, which builds foundational interest in blockchain technology at an early age. In addition to direct Bitcoin distribution, the program collaborates with major crypto exchanges allowing students to earn tokens (e.g., BNB) by participating in real-world testing of exchange platforms or educational blockchain projects.

Program Highlights:

  • Crypto-Funded Education: The foundation collects crypto donations and distributes them to students to promote learning.

  • Hands-On Learning: Students receive crypto directly and must create digital wallets to access it, prompting real engagement with Web3 tools.

  • School-Based Outreach: Focused on school students in diverse regions, especially in underrepresented communities.

  • Exchange Partnerships: Collaborations with crypto companies allow students to earn coins through participation in beta testing and crypto education projects.

  • Inspiration Through Access: By giving students their first crypto experience, the program inspires independent exploration and potential future careers in the blockchain industry.
